Photographer's Note
The chaplain of Santa Maria Chautempan, an abandoned convent near Puebla city, guides the few visitors, takes care of the place and tolls the bells for mass. He invited us to follow him up, through a very narrow round-walk (Franciscan monasteries in Mexico reproduced the architecture of Medieval European fortresses), and through a steep stairway. In the top the sound from the two century old brass bells was overwhelming, but the spectacle beautiful.
Tech: brought down the ISO to 80, moved to speed mode and set it for around half a second, all in a few seconds. Lamented not having an 40 year old Leica rangefinder.

Hi david
this seems to me to be a photo that has some serious potential.
I like the subject and the position he is in, but i dont like the fact that the photo is so washed out.
It is much to bright, there is almost no detail here.
nice note though. looks like i will have to visit Puebla city. ;)
