Photographer's Note

La Pez 1 was successfully drilled in 1904, being the first oil well in Mexico. Its production was 4 124 976 barrels from 1904 to 1917, after which the production declined gradually until 1925. In that year was plugged, finishing its productive period.

An oil-well with history, and with modern equipment mounted, Pedro.
Used well the pic. space, fine shot.
