Photographer's Note

This is from a graduation ceremony at the public school in Troncones, a small fishing and surfing village up the coast from Zihuatanejo. I was taken with the young lady's uniform (she was part of an honor guard), her solemnity, and her single dangling curl. The woman in white blouse is obviously her proud mother, but I can only guess at the relationships of the other woman and the little girl on the left -- an aunt and a little sister or cousin, perhaps?

Hola Russ,

You are right, the uniform and the solemnity are amazing.

I like the photo very much, but I (just me) think that a wider FOV could have helped. Also, a smaller f/stop should help with keeping more in focus. (The girl with the uniform looks very sharp, while the lady behind her is a little soft).
