Photographer's Note
One animal that we saw at the Etosha National Park in droves of hundreds were zebras. These striped beauties were everywhere with lots of babies too.
On our return to the camp the sun was setting in a golden glow and a herd of zebra were walking into the sunset creating dust for a wonderful effect.

Hello Wanda,
What a wonderful light! We also have the zebra looking back to us and making a link with the reader of the picture and his fellows walking away in the misty background. A nature photo with a real atmosphere. I like.

Hi Wanda,
as above-mentioned, here the atmosphere is dreamy, Etosha offers many possibilities for excellent shots.I don't know if there is some PP in this image or that is what you saw with your eyes, however that may be the composition already is deserving by itself. The effect given by the golden light coming from the right on the grass bent by the wind has something mystical.

Hi Wanda
a captivating light and composition. The little flashes of gold on the fg grasses and the dusty gold horizon makes this simply beautiful. A striking image and wonderfully conceived presentation. Awesome!

Wanda, this is a glorious shot. I only wish that I had taken it so that I could paint it. The light is enchanting in the way the other animals merge with the light and their shapes become more and more ephemeral, in the way the specks of light on the grass render the foreground alive and in the overall glow. Subtle yet dramatic.Masterful control of a difficult setting. A shot worthy of much praise. My sincere compliments. Klaudio.

Hi Wana,
Fantastic shot, not only a wonderful wildlife shot, but also a beautiful sunset shot. love the glow of the light from the side that illuminated the dusty dry air, I can almost feel the heat, and also the specks of light that shine on the weeds. The zebra is also in good details in this light, such a dream like image, takes me back to my trip in Kenya and Tanzania. Love to be here perhaps soon.

ciao wanda,
Namibia seems to have a magical light - as for Andre's shot I commented earlier today, there is something oneiric about it that fascinates me completely.
I fully agree with klaudio and his critique - I could have not found better words than his to comment on your photo.
have a good weekend,

hello Wanda
difficult to critique such a picture, what could I say, except that I think that zebras are the some of the most beautiful animals on Earth, and that the light is splendid, there is no word strong enough to describe such a light and the effect it as created in the dust and in the grasses.

Hi Wanda,
It's a beautiful shot, looks like a shot taken by an animal reporter. I'm particularly in love with the atmosphere you succeeded to get and to transmit. Really great.
Really a luck that this zebra turned its head like this too. And you didn't miss it ! Very nice composition.
A great shot which would have its place in a review.
Compliments and thanks for sharing it.

Hi Wanda
What a magnificent picture with this pastel sky and the dust raised by the animals which makes as a kind of mist on the grass. The golden light is really beatiful and I like also the strong sharpness and the foreground and then the blurred background. great shot of a splendid instant

You're capturing well this nature scenry by fantastic touch, so it's always impressive and interesting to see great nature of Africa. The focus is suitable for the zebra in this side well, and a lot of zebras in the other side are give good atmosphere. And, the evening sun that pours down over the earth and the sky is drawn out fantastic atmosphere for the whole.

Hi Wanda,
What a beautiful shot! Zebras in amazing beautiful color of setting sun. I like the first zebra is sharp but the others are pretty mystical in haze...maybe a lion is lying and waiting in the grass! I visited Etosha less than three months ago so I can feel the atmosphere and warmth of evening.
Best wishes, Kaisa
By the way...wow, you have several great photos. Thanks for sharing them :-)
