A stormy day in Launceston rewarded me with this shot.
The castle at Launceston dominates the surrounding landscape - perched on top of a large, natural mound. The Castle was the ultimate status symbol of Middle Age wealth and power. Originally known as Dunheved. It was an impressive and strategically important building that controlled the river crossing in and out of Cornwall

Hello Leslie,
you have captured an impressive atmosphere here with a good DOF.Compositionally I would have preferred to see the water trough off centre but i guess this would have meant losing some f the architecture behind. That's a nice sky.

Leslie, this shot scares, the light is just so great that takes you to into a nightmare, really well atmosphere gotten.

Hi, Les,
Great! this view reminds a scene from some historical movie or fairy-tale. The grey clouds add more dramatic senses to the composition.
