A Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Conceição é a principal igreja da cidade do Serro, Minas Gerais. Tombada pelo IPHAN, é uma das maiores igrejas barrocas do estado, possuindo as torres em madeira mais altas entre as igrejas coloniais mineiras. Saint-Hilaire a descreveu como "uma das mais belas e grandes que ele vira em toda a Província de Minas". Foi possivelmente neste templo que o Maestro Lobo de Mesquita ensaiou seus primeiros acordes musicais.

lembro que visitei esta matriz. a sua foto ficou muito bonita com a moça bem colocada em cena. lindas as cores e o azulão do céu contrastando com a arquitetura.

Un corps central et deux tours clochers couverts d'un toit en pavillon, la blancheur de la façade ressort très joliment avec cet environnement végétal.
Quant à la personne assise au pied de la statue, elle semble perdue dans ses idées.

the light you captured in this scene is magnificent, it's both substantial and lucid, rich and invigorating. I like very much the effect it has on the bright, warm colours and the very attractive contrasts, you produced a delicious blue in the sky too. I like your composition in a vertical frame that stresses the main characteristics of the scenery and has enough space above the church for relief. The statue and the girl are well placed. A striking capture of this beautiful igreja with wonderful deep colors, subtle light and the eye catching detail. Your framing is wise as the foreground staircase increases the sense of depth forcing the eye upwards, and clinched by effective human touch. Impressive shot, Congrats, tfs.

The girl sitting on the steps of the obelisk and chatting on her mobile hone adds a good focal point. Good sharpness and the bg twin spired church make a fine bcakdrop and contrasts well with the blue sky. Tfs!

Esplendida la fachada de esta iglesia, en una bonita perspectiva desde abajo de la escalinata, el dominante blanco de su fachada, luce de maravilla contra el intenso azul del cielo, la chica sentada nos da idea de las proporciones.
Muy eficaz colorido, que destaca los detalles de la imagen.
Buena luminosidad y nitidez.

Another Beautiful church and nicely placed at the top of the long staircase to give great depth and scale. The people sitting by the gate give a nice human touch to this place too. Love this light and blue sky
