this Venice series is wonderful. especially the colors are perfect. I am curious about the exif data of each photo but could not find it. It would be very nice if you can write a little bit how you took this shot.

Hi Philip.
At this moment, 19 views and not one critique? Hard to believe for this colourful and dynamic photo. Maybe some people object to the HDR, but you could get similar results from CPL filter and some careful work in Photoshop. Anyway, the result is brilliantly lit and so full of rich colours. The composition in itself is worth of some comment, because it has such a strong perspective and great depth. I'm sure you had to remove the lens distortion here, but it was worthwhile. The clouds are another thing, the way they fan out. An unusual and striking photo.

Indeed it's the true color in Venezia. Blue sky and colorful house. And most of important, the wide and open mind and view there. Thanks for sharing.

huge and deep setting for this venezian picture, i like to see picture like that, that remind me how much i loved those one few monthes ago before i stopped for a while shooting ... as i start again watching pictures and shooting, i wonder if i will continue in this way or find a way more natural ... eternal debate
anyway the composition is good

Hello Philip,
A fine view in rich colours and good light in both sunny and shadow areas. I like the way the narrow access ramp splits the image in two and separates the water in different colour tones.

This shot is a classic. The lines running deep into the image and the colors reach out and grab the viewer.
