Chicago's Grant Park at Dusk, Early Fall 2004
The main attraction of the park is the Buckingham Fountain, one of the world's largest and the city's most popular attraction. The fountain runs from 10 AM to 11 PM daily and operates from late spring to late fall. Every hour on the hour for 20 minutes, the fountain produces a major water display and the center jet shoots 150 feet into the air. Beginning at dusk, every hour on the hour for 20 minutes the fountain's major water display is accompanied by a major light and music display. The final display of the evening begins at 10:00 p.m.
Philanthrophist Kate Buckingham dedicated the structure to the people of Chicago in 1927 in memory of her late brother, Clarence. At the time, she also established a $300,000 trust fund to ensure that the taxpayers would never have to cover all of the repair and upkeep costs associated with the fountain.
Cropped the top and bottom to achieve a panoramic effect, then curves and USM.

Good shot! I'm always partial to citiscapes at dusk, and this is a very good example of the genre. I particularly like the contrast between the cool sky colours and the warmth of the fountains. Detail is excellent too. If I could change anything I'd like there to be a little more space on the left, since that building seems too close to edge of the frame, but that's only a very minor thing. Good note too! Very nicely captured :-D

Very crisp, clean shot with just a bit of sunset. The fountain almost seems to be on fire. Well seen.

Well captured! You seemed to catch the ambient lighting just right. Not too dark in the background but dark enough that the lights of the fountain and city buildings show up quite well. You also managed, somehow, to avoid nearby street/park lights that would have cast a mood-destroying glow. The red glow was also interesting. When I first saw the small preview, I thought immediately of lava.

Clean sky and nice light - just the right time of day - not too dark, not too much daylight.
I did a double-take looking at this photo: for a moment I thought the tall building on the right was one of the World Trade Centers that had been photoshopped in. Must have been designed by the same architects
