Photographer's Note
There are many more elaborate lobster boats in Maine but this guy looks very functional with its homemade cabin to keep off the North Atlantic chill.
These men are usually up around 4 am and out on the water until early afternoon. It is hard healty work that pays well.

Hi Tom
Good repetition of the boats, with superb reflections, color & sharpness. Well composed, with the high horizon line. The dark rocky island, or peninsula with the birds, adds a nice graphic touch. Tfs!

Hi Tom,
I really like this shot! Great POV over the water with this older looking boat in the foreground. It played in your favour that the water was calm and created some beautiful reflections. Wonderful light, great colours and details. Well done!

Hello Tom,
A good composition of this little boat, which, no doubt serves the purpose effectively without looking chic. I like the light and colours and the pretty reflections.

Tom,
The reflection provides nice depth and balance here. The repeating boats create depth and lead the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Hi Tom
Well done. You have captured warm evening light on this old boat. Not a way I would choose to make a living but I can see the draw just to be out on the ocean each day.

Hi Tom,
a perfect arrangement of the boats on the water! The harmony of the colors is amazing and there are wonderful and eye catching reflections in FG but the main feature is this fantastic light! My compliments!

Hello Tom,
The old boat increase your wonderfully taken photo's beauty. I liked your way adding next laying boats especially with eye catching reds. The reflections of humble boat is wonderful too with enviable blues. Congratulations.
Friendly Regards,

Hi, Tom.
A very nice composition, calm and soothing. The framing with the high horizon line is perfect for this one, with those scattered boats providing a lovely touch of color while at the same time leading the eye deeper and deeper into the view. Good job! You guys have a great day, I'll be seeing you.
Fulvio.

hi Tom
Humble the boat maybe but it really makes a great subject for this capture of the sea with the light and reflection. Very nicely composed view to show how interesting a sidelined state like Maine at north eastern tip of the map can become. Good work.

Hi, Tom,
Love that New England light! Wonderful composition, mad good color, excellent detail and I love the reflection in the FG. And?? You couldn't hold a gun on me and make me go out in that frigid weather in one of those tiny things. :))) Beautiful Maine shot! Many thanks and warm regards,
Shelly

Hello Tom,
What a great 'blue' shot! It is amazing how many different tones have been produced here!
Great positioning of the focal boat, sharply focussed and with superb water details reflected on its sides. The reflection in the water is equally good.
The bright colours of the boats add vitality and contrast to the very 'blue' scene.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Tom,
very nice photo with a great contrast of colors! I like the small colured boat among such huge environment. Your have captured the essence of the sea and coastline of this area. I visited Maine's coast recently and your brought back memories. This is what taking a photograph is all about: creating an image so that you do not forget.
All the best.
