Photographer's Note

While doing a move for a friend from Florida to New Hampshire. I took a day to travel to Maine and see a friend from my Navy days. I had not seen him in over 40 years. You never realize how the time flies until it's gone by. We picked up our friendship like it was yesterday we last saw each other. I must stress this that don't let time slip away. He took me to this cool eatery called Daddyo's in Norway Maine. The man in the image is not him. I will post an image of us in the workshop. by the way.... the food is excellent.

Beautiful image of this restaurant with good food but what I like most is this image of WS celebrating years of friendship. Very nice and precious this moment of reunion with old friends. Congratulations to both of you.

Hi JIMMY,it's really nice to see old friends again after a long time, sometimes I also feel this feeling when someone comes to visit me in my bar, maybe schoolmates I haven't seen since graduating in 1983 and that I also struggled to recognize. I've the same the floor (black/white) 60 year ago, ten year removed
Pleasant panorama view too with this cool eatery.
Also the quiet moment to see your old marine friend, today 61 year ago that I goung by the navy, friends make your picture attractive.

A nice impression from this diner with the walls completely covered with license plates. Good light management and I like the several red areas.

Hello Jimmy,
There's a lot of nostalgia in this shot. I've always been interested in license plates, and this eatery has tons of them. I like the old-fashioned Coca Cola case with the pie on the shelf, and the sign above it. I'm not sure what "red flannel hash" is; I'll have to look it up. :-) It's nice that you got to see an old friend, too. Take care!

Excellent daily life scene from Norway...Maine. Hailing from Old Europe, we had lots of fun driving through all those places with European names. In New Orleans we even met a fellow Antwerpian, who had spotted me wearing my Antwerp shirt. Funny!
