Photographer's Note

It’s rare that I intentionally take a photo of people as a portrait, in fact, it’s become quite an challenge not to have them in any of my pictures. This little girl however, was too adorable to pass up and with her fathers permission I snapped away.

I don’t know what event had just taken place that she was involved with, but I don’t think it mattered one bit. With her painted face and black & white cookie (which is yet another New York icon if you ask me) she was as happy as could be, pure innocence....not a care in the world.

Too bad we can’t hang on to these kinds of moments longer, but life has a clock of its own I suppose!? Hope this takes you back to your childhood and puts a smile on your face as it did mine.

Kids are always fantastic subject, Jason, and this cute little girl posng for you, gave a great moment of joy.
She looks smart, knowing she is a center of attention, with her face colored masterfully.

I do love the "Random Photos" feature on people's profiles! Today, it threw this one at me, one I had missed before. The portrait is flawless, and your note is poignant -- but I can't wait to see those curls on this lady at age 18!
