Photographer's Note

The World Trade Center used to tower high above New York and was the focal point of the Lower Manhattan skyline. Although criticized initially for its design, New Yorkers slowly grew to love the massive structures. I, personally, think it was a beautiful structure and I particularly liked looking straight up all 1400feet of it from street level.

This shot was taken about a year before the 9/11 attacks, and I like it as both a memorial to the event and as an impressive photograph.
