Photographer's Note

Atlas held the world on his mighty shoulders. In the dark of the New York night, I shot him from the back :-) The statue of Atlas is just one of the many landmarks available to photographers, and tourists in New York City. I was experimenting with the high ISO performance of my new D200. This was shot at ISO 1000, available lighting. I had the EOS 20D for about a year or so, and that was a great low-light camera as well, perhaps slightly better than the D200 in that area. But so far, I am greatly enjoying the camera.

For those who asked, I also have shots of Atlas from the front, but those are seen all the time, so I posted the back view because it's a little different. I'll post a frontal view of later on. Thanks for lookin'
