Photographer's Note

This past Saturday was the first sunny day after yet another winter storm in New York City... As soon as the sun came out, so did the people of NYC, crowding the streets and parks. This happy quartet chose Central Park, as did I.

Nice shot. By going somepaces to the left you just might have excluded the cyclist from the picture. Not that he is bothering me much. Lovely daily life scene.

Lovely shot, you captured a nice cosy and cheerful moment here. I like the interaction here. People looking at eachother, and those who are looking away are mostlikely looking at someone outside your frame Liora. Nice.
Hope to absorb these New York sceneries in a few weeks, will be heading for Manhattan in the beginning of April. Thanks for the inspiration too! ;)

Interesting and nice shot. You really captured the happy mood of this quartet, I'm sure the passer by must stop to listen to their music, as does the cyclist. I like how these musicians fill the image.
I would be tempted to play with levels to make the colors come out a little more. But that's my thing, I love sharp colors...

Great photo. What characters! I was going to suggest increasing the contrast and darkening it just a little, but then, no, the slightly washed-out look is perfect for winter pallor in the spring sunshine.

i lived 3 years in New York and know how it is, that first spring weekend, i would run to central park as well, knowing that i would get to see people enjoying life like this...
it makes me feel NY-sick! (as opposed to homesick of course)

Great capture.. Thay are all verry natural in this photo... The only thing that I think that can be better is that biker that is looking at the câmera.. Great work.

There is a bohemian spirit in this picture. The musicians seem to be happy of playing music together and enjoying the first sunny rays of the season. You captured very well this ambiance.

my best friend live in NYC and i have heard so many stories about this city. I hope to visit it soon and to feel something of this atmosfere. Ur photo is lovely. I can feel how happy are these people and how much enjoy the sun and the music.

The real exotism in NYC is .. people :-)
Good capture but the face a little over/exposed I think .
