Photographer's Note

Since I did not have a seat with a good view, I doodled with my camera as the commencement ceremony was going on. This is a zoom-in on all the (supposed) diplomas to be handed to the graduates. I'll let you in on a secret: those covers do not have actual diplomas in them because the grades were due two days after the ceremony. The covers contain a sheet of paper that says the graduates will get their diplomas in the mail after the registrar has cleared their degree.

The workshop has another doodling with the camera, a close up of the tassel of my colleague in front of me. I like that photo better but this day was about our students, not about us, so the tassel got relegated to the workshop.
