Desert Sky, a photo from Arizona, West

Photographer's Note

This photo was taken along Rt. 89 in the Navajo Reservation east of Grand Canyon National Park. The skies are so dramatic in the desert, and weather and light conditions change in an instant. This is a roadside pic; daylight color film--100 or 200 I think. My first posting.

Great capture there. I like the orangish brown tones tinting the land+skies and the vertical framing you chose.

It must be such an experience to be all the way out there on the road and desert and seeing a beautiful rainbow. Would be a shame if no one photographed it, thanks for sharing. A warmest welcome! joanne

Very nice photo with spectacular sky and colours. It looks threatening, but this photo gives me a warm feeling.
