Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in Getty Center, a privately founded museum, opened 1997. At the welcome hall of the museum. There is a J. Paul Getty's status. A plaque on the side of the status reads:
“This Museum is a Memorial to J. Paul Getty (1892 – 1972)
Whose collection forms its core and whose legacy has made possible its continued growth.
As his wish the J. Paul Getty Museum from its foundation in Malibu in 1954 to its expansion there in 1974 to the opening of these buildings at the Getty Center in 1997 has been dedicated to Delighting and educating its visitors.”
This is a view from the garden. The foreground plants form a maze in the pond.
Side notes: Today is a fairly hot day in Los Angeles. Beach and Museums are the popular places for hot summer days in Los Angeles.

Hi Wes
This one doesn't seem as sharp as your usual. Either camera shake, or it needs an unsharp mask. But, color, saturation, lighting, & are composition are all superb. Well done!

I agree with everybody. The composition is really good (especially the dof), but I regret the unsharpness. It's really a pity, because it must a be an interesting you know how to shoot !

Hmm, a shame it was a tiny bit sharper. But the composition is very good and it looks like an intresting place with this garder in the foreground and the futuristic silvergrey architecture on the background. So thanks for sharing, Wes!

Hi Wes,
It's an interesting place and well composed photo. I'm just curious, why did you use so long exposure of 1/25 seconds.
Thanks,
Marek

Hi Wes,
Indeed a very beautiful place and the perfect composition and POV enhanced it even more. I like the man standing in the foreground and repeated by the crowd at the back all enjoying the scene. Interesting shot!! Have a nice weekend.

Hi Wes,
Nice combination in this shot of the nice garden and the fine modern buildings! The lack of sharpness is a pity, but it's a good picture though. Well done.

Hi Wes,
A well composed urban shot, with much for the eye to absorb. I like your POV and how you managed to capture a good foreground subject as well as the maze. The colours are pleasing and rendered with excellent clarity. The person is positioned nicely off center to balance the shot and add warmth. The foamy white falls coming down the wall breaks up the scene and provides some dynamism. Well captured.

Hi Wes. A pity that the sharpness is off on this photo, as the composition you made is a very good one with the modern architecture of the GC in the back, and the guy in the foreground taking a look at the maze. The exposure was also well handled in the summer sun, and a good color palette was captured.

Hi Wes, I guess I'll just sound like a broken record and say the same thing about the camera shake. My guess is that you were going for a large DOF which would make sense here. But your probably would have been fine f/15 or so and that of course would have increased the shutter speed a little. But I do like the composition. Nice one Wes.

Hi Wes
Interesting shot of the "private" maze.
One question, Wes, Why is the building seem blur or seem "shaking"?
