Photographer's Note
To visit the Getty Center is free. You need to pay only if you drive a car to visit the museum, which costs $7.00 parking fee per car.
Next to the mostly underground parking structure is the lower tram station. The design concept for the tram is a "horizontal elevator" along a gentle slope from the parking structure to the upper station where the main exhibition area is located. It takes 5 minutes for the about 10 mile/hr speed tram ride. You may choose to walk up to the center, which may take 15 minutes walking.
The architect, Meier said, the tram is to have the visitors being elevated out of their day-to-day experience. At the same time, they'll have a powerful sense of being in the center of this great city.
In this picture, a tram is just arrived to the tram station. On the left of this picture is the walk way to the exhibition center. The white triangles in the background are shading umbrellas for picnic area.

Hi Wes,
Looks a bit fututistic to me, that tram, however it's an interesting thought of the architect about it. I like the quite low PoV of your picture as well as the trees on a row on the left hand side. Well done!

Bonjour Wes,
Daniel.

Hi Wes. Well you made some truly excellent use of depth and repeating shapes in this one. I like the hard light and shadows. I also like the way you’re included the hill behind the tram. Good job hand-holding that exposure at 1/10th second. At f22 you sometimes can start showing dust on the sensor but your clean as can be! Good one Mr. Wes.

Funny you pay for the Park and not for the museum :)))
This is a great work in architecture from Mr Meir, and the composition with the trees and at opposite the low and long construction is a very good Idea
Well composed

Hi Wes,
A well composed scene with good shadows and colour. The contrast between the rich green grass and the extensive shadow is most effective, and one can also see tufts of grass within the shadowed area that further enhance. The white building seems very modern in design and provides a further contrast with the natural setting of greenery. I also like the white walkway to the far left of the scene. Well seen and captured, Mr. Wes.

Well I see you have been using alot of forethought on planning how your shots will look. Nice photo Wes. I was in LA airport last night on a final stopover to the final flight back to Vancouver. The holiday in Mexico was a very enjoyable one. And I have some photos to prove it was amazing. So glad to be back in BC. But in Mexico for 4 bucks US you can take a trip to anywhere in Puerto Vallarta. Nice shot Wes

Hi Wes,
The trees with shadows, also it green grass give nice perspective, tram station together with tram give the white colour as contrast against the background of the hills.
Best regards,

Hi Wes. Good double perspective provided by the footpath and trees on the left side, and the white diagonal of the train. The diagonal of the shadow also enforces the sense of depth in this one. Nice colors.
Your aperture seems to be perpetually set to f/22 which in this case gave you a 1/10 sec shutter speed and some unsharp areas in the frame. Try to lower the f-stop a bit occasionally or use the "P" mode for some alternate shots.

Hi Wes,
A futuristic station and a nice green place. Low angle approach and angle of view. Fine for composition.
A interesting capture, simple ad with a fine composition.
Best to you.
Have a nice weekend.

Hi Wes
Nice composition with nice POV.
It's strange to see a tram station on this place, in the countryside.
Nice light.

Hi Wes, nice contrast between light and dark. I like the converging lines of the trees, shadow, hedge and tram. An interesting building - it's modernity seems a little out of place in this natural setting.

Hi Wes,
The strong contrast between dark and bright areas and the diagonal line of the tram station give a great perspective to your composition. Beautiful colours as well. Splendid work my friend.
