Photographer's Note
These pelicans were heading out to see as the sun was setting. i almost lost this picture due to a memeory card problem but i used a recovery program and got it, and hundreds of others, back. if you shoot a lot make sure you've got a memory card recovery utility on your computer otherwise you'll have to not use the card until you get home and can recover the shots.

Hi tom,
Guess u have used zoom here.Seems to be bit grainy and blurry but to me that really doesnot matter a lot.Lovely colours and the pelicans in the sky adds drama that it deserves.

Hi Tom,
Wonderfull, and the grain does not hurt me !
İt's simply the compo and the way how you've felt and seen the scenery !
Maybe the only thing I would like to criticise ; why didn't you frame it ?
But at all, good job
TFS and have a nice weekend

Nice horizontal and warm composition, with all that matter in that gold yellow stripe.

Hi Tom
I like very much the colours and the Pelican formation.
But there is something strange in the photo, maybe because of the zoom?
Anyway well done

Hello Tom,
The flight of pelicans in the front of the sunset is amazing. I like the background blurred.

Hello friend.
Thanks to visit my gallery and to allow me to know yours.
At your photos (spectacular), it pleases much this to me. The truth, always I have liked the intense tonalities of sunsets, and although she presents/displays a little noise, I consider that the composition is magnifies and combines very well with the scene.
Congratulations.

thanks for your comments on my photo " Shelter from the storm "
( Horses don't really need shelter from cold as they grow very nice warm winter coats, but they do for sure need shelter from blowing wind and from wet weather..the small leantoo is pefect for that. )

Hi Tom
I watched recently pelicans flights above Florida Beaches ans I could appreciate thier gracious flights and thier paradoxical abrupt dives to get fish under water.
This formation taken with a long lens is a pleasure for the eyes due to the magic of background!
Much pleasing mood!
Take care.

Hi Tom:
Fantastic capture! What a beautiful sunset to capture, but to have the pelicans flying in the middle of it is even better. I love that you caught most of their wings in about the same position. I think it helps the composition and gives a lot of harmony to the picture. What a beautiful sight. Thanks for sharing.
