Photographer's Note

This photo was taken at the Golden Gate Bridge and it is of the Bay Bridge you see in the distance. There is a plaque that has grooves beveled out that points to the Bay Bridge.

The Bay Bridge is technically called, "Oakland Bay Bridge". The Bay Bridge has two suspension bridges and four towers, where as the Golden Gate Bridge has two towers. The Bay Bridge is 8.4 miles long, there are 4.5 miles over the water and it was opened in 1936. It costs $3.00 USD to cross the bridge one way, coming into San Francisco.
