Tranquil Hulopoe Bay, a photo from Hawaii, West

This is probably my favorite photo of Hulopoe Bay, located on Lanai's southern shore. The bay is a marine sanctuary, so oftentimes spinner dolphins swim close to shore. There are also lots of other marine species present, making it a snorkeler's paradise. This photo was taken just before sunset. I don't have much for photoshop skills, so no editing has been done. That aside, I still love this picture. A thousand words, but the best one: tranquil.

Hi Anne.
I agree with your "word" - but to something: The colors here are marvelous!
In fact you have created some very strong and fine lines in this photo given by the coastline at the horizon and the breaking wave up front.

Hi Anne,
The soft colors of the sky and their reflection on the empty bay is a peaceful that you have captured well. You were a featured artist on the TE homepage. Hawaii is a very photogenic place; Doesn't look like Lanai has grown much since I was there in the late 70's (I lived on Maui for several years and it has really grown since 1982)

Hello Anne. I like the simplicity of this photo. The zig zag lines that move through it invite the eye to explore. Lovely!

Very impressive colour contrast between blue and orange tones. I liked the softness.
You are really lucky to live in Hawai. People are working all the year long in order to spend just four days in that paradise :)

A peaceful looking place, with wonderful sunset colours setting up a nice warm cold colour oppoSition, between the blue & orange. Good graphism of the tongue of land on the horizon. Tfs!
