Photographer's Note

I thought this might offer a interesting introduction for the series of photos I am about to upload.

This scene is located just south of the US/Canadian border on MT Highway 17. The highway is also known as the Chief Mountain International Highway and connects Glacier National Park in the US and Waterton National Park in Canada. The two parks combined are known as the Waterton Glacier International Peace Park World Heritage Site. The parks are so known to signify the long standing friendly relations between the two countries.

Nice landscape - it looks cold, maybe that's just the long shadows. May have been improved by zooming the lens to full tele, and then moving back to get the welcome sign in. This would have flattened the perspective between the sign and the background, and made the mountain look larger.
