Photographer's Note
This is a picture of a couple taking a break from gambling. I know that they are taking a break because I can hear everything they say. They are talking too loud, and it does not sound that they are winning. Once you enter the casino it is a different world. You would not even know the time of day based on your surroundings. It is always dark. When I took this photo it was approximately 3:30PM. The sun was shining brightly outside.

Wow - had me fooled. Was convinced this was 11pm at closing time!
The capture of the atmosphere is great, but I read it completely incorrectly. er... well done?
Great image.

Hi Andre: I like the mood coming out of this photo. The red light, the emptyness of the place, the moving figure behind them... Kind of sad, looser atmosphere. Congratulations. More than a photo: A feeling.

Hi Andre
I again like the colours in this photo a lot.
According to my tastes I would say that this photo lacks sharpness ... but still you have captured a very good atmosphere in it
tfs ... cheers ... sarju

Andre,
Very nice image. I love the dark orange light despite it being taken in the middle of the afternoon -- that really does say it all about the casino, these artificial worlds, cut off from reality, self-contained, each and every element planned down to the last detail.
