Fashion Mall Tower, a photo from Nevada, West

Photographer's Note

Let us take a break from the Grand Canyon Series again and so I can show you some pictures taken in Las vegas.

In this picture is the Fashion Mall Sign Tower. It is a sign tower with a huge oblong shape, like a space ship on top. The tower itself has the sign of the Fashion Mall. The Fashion Mall is an old shopping mall that has been recently remodelled and is located across Wynns Hotel and Casino on Las Vegas Boulevard. This picture was taken from the street corner and showing the walk that leads to the mall. I will be posting two more photos of this tower. Because of the color and finish of this tower I decided to make it black and white. It is a stainless steel clad, brushed finished structure.

Nice architecture ! I like this and your picture is good. Good B/W choice.
It would have be interesting to have the two persons not cropped...I think...

Very nice composition from daily life. I like very much the lighting and the POV. I wonder how is the picture in colour version. Very well done Andre!

This a very cared one in framing and quality. I like the subject here and the presentation in Black and white.
In color its also a good one.. The main attractive element here is how you managed with the people at left going to the mall well placed in the foreground they participate to the construction of the picture without affecting the main element which is the can looking :-)) object.

a fantastic ultra clean black and white, with great strong light and perfect focus!

Hi Andre, interesting B/W, I like the shade of the railing in the ground and the pair leaving a side of the photo, good light and very good definition.

If I liked the another one, this is much better. The contrast, the black and white, the POV and composition (is very interesting see here the people) and even that sky break in two halfs.
Really a nice work.

Hey, As per my previous comment, this is exactly the opposite! I think that here it is a very good b+w choice, it makes the shot look very crisp and clean, and the addition of the people for scale in the foreground works well, and gives the photo somethign other than just a shot of a building.

Looking back throgh my shots I dont seem to have a photo of the fashion show at all, which is disappointing really because, you went more than a year ago, and it looks the same now as it did then, down to the ipod nano adverts, although they have been updated.

So well done,and good choice of b+w again its a lot better than the colour.
