Fashion Mall Tower v2, a photo from Nevada, West

Photographer's Note

This is a closer shot of the Fashion Mall Tower, taken almost under it but still showing the top of the tower with it's communication antena and other electronic antena. The tower has a perforated polished stainless steel cladding, while the oblong, spaceship like form supported by the tower is of brushed stainless steel so it looks whiter on the photograph. The tower goes straight through an opening. It supports the spaceship like form with cables at the top and also braced below with cables.

PP Work: Adjust levels control; Adjust saturation; Sharpen image; Remove noise; Convert to black and white; Crop; Frame; Reduce size for posting.

This is excellent, Andre. You really rendered the feeling of an extraterrestrial spacecraft in this one, with the combination of shapes and metallic textures versus the threatening sky. It looks like it could be a still photo from a 1950s sci-fi movie. The tonal range in the b&w is beautiful.

Way cool! Very futuristic and high-tech. I loved the black and white effect and it's "metallic" look by your tonal and level adjustment.

I like the futuristic look. B/W was an excellent choice. The sky greatly adds to the feeling of being in alien surroundings. You have chosen the point of view very well.
