Well, this is a fantastic image, worth a wall-size poster. I suspect there was a professional behind the camera, am I right? And what a fanastic weather!

Great shot Jim,
I liked a lot this picture. The dried garden of eden contrasting with the mountains covered by snow. It is great. I hope I can visit this place sometime.
Nice job!!!!

Wow fantastic shot, I just love the two differen types of land formations here. The rocks in the forefront you'd expect in the dry desert, and the mountains in the background with alpine conditions.

Very clean and picturesque with nicely contrasted jump from desert to distant mountain range.
I love Arches Nat. Park.
Thanks for letting us see this one.

I have seen all you have posted and I am wondering why after processing that you leave your photos a little less than real sharp. I am using photoshop CS2 and it really has some nice features in it. One that I really like is called Smart Sharpen under the Filter USM menu. I have applied it to a few of my latest postings and it seems to make a little difference.
This setting is very well balanced along with the light shadows bringing these rock formations to life. And of course you had to get into that perfect position jsut tp have the mountains capping this to make it look grande.

This is an amazing shot of Arches...the mountain peaks covered with snow in the background create great contrast...I also like the warm light...
