Fall harvest the way it's been done for generations in Pennsylvania's Lancaster County. The Amish don't take kindly to having their picture taken, so this was with Canon S1 at full 10x zoom.

Very interesting shot. I had heard of Amish but never seen them "in action" before. The picture looks a little burnt but the conditions for taking it were obviously not optimal. Nice atmosphere anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Beautifull. Movement, colours, subject. I can understand why they don't like to be observed, because, after all, they still live like in the 17th century, above all in the most modern country of the world. They must feel like monkeys in a zoo, BUT, I think we admire them, they fascinate us, and maybe we are jealous of their lyfe-style and commitment, maybe?
