Horseshow Bend is a bend of the Colorado River near Page, Arizona. It is a very scenic view from the cliffs above. This is a detail of the river, with the boats carried by the river's stream.
Note the formation of arc-shaped holes in the sandstone, due to the fall of the rock underneath them.

Like this closer view of this so famous Horseshow Bend . We can see here the details and the texture of the superb red cliffs .
And the little boats give the scale .

Hello Stefano,

It is not the usual point of view of this place and it is also good as giving a new way to see this place.
Tiny white boats in the river are really important in the picture as giving an idea of the huge size of this landscape.

Très joli scène rocheuse et excellente composition avec la rivière qui se perd au tournant. Le petit bateau donne une bonne idée de l'immensité des rochers. Superbe harmonie de couleurs entre le bleu et le orangé. Ce doit être une belle aventure de descendre cette rivière.

Hi Stefano,
A nice different kind of view of this place, more close up instead of the entire shoe. Beautiful rusty reds on the textured rocks, and a well composed image with the rock formations on each side filling opposite coners of the frame.

You certainly added a twist to this picture. Horseshoe bend has been presented a zillion times, but always in its full wide view. You've presented somethin refreshingly different. Though we don't see the entire horseshoe, we can see teh river take a turn in an arc. The colour contrast between the warm tones of the rock & the deep blue water is beautiful!
