Photographer's Note
This is Badwater, the hottest place in the Death Valley. Located below the sea level, at the edge of a wide salt lake, it is the place where the hottest temperatures of the Northern hemisphere where ever recorded. (57 degrees in the shade, I think, but there is no natural shade !).
From the parking area you can walk to the core of the salted lake. It is a short walk, but it is a considerable effort due to the high temperature.
When I was there the hot wind was like a hair dryer on my face. You really need to drink a lot to prevent serious risks for your health.

Hello Stefano,
I have a piece of fun looking at this photo of what could be modern tourism.
I do not know if I would have taken such photo but I like it, it is showing something; I try to avoid as much as possible :-)

Hi Stefano!
Indeed, thank you for that wonderful note! THe people seem to be lost deserted especially the ones from a far. Love the scale you've got in here, it just shows how vast the area is. Nice POV and great DOF! Interesting composition!
Have a great day,
Matt

Hello Stefano,
Good title and great note to explain. On the other hand the girls here look like they're just out for a stroll, maybe to work on their health or figure.
Death Valley already featured on my imaginary list of places I want to visit because of its role in the old movie classic Greed, but this picture moved it higher up.
Cheers.
Benny
