Photographer's Note

I think it's safe to say that it has been a pretty dry winter here in Northern California. Normally by this time I've donned my rain gear and gotten knee deep into some of the areas best creeks and streams. After months of waiting, my wish has come true because multiple storms have brought heavy rains breathing life to some of my favorite waterways. This image was taken at one of the local mecca's for waterfall lovers in Marin County, California - Cataract Falls. The creek is flowing strong right now with a fury that I haven't seen in quite some time.
