THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE - A CLASSIC ONE !

That day I took a bike ride from dowtown San Francisco to Sausalito, going back to the city by boat!
Such an enjoyable day and once again I got close to that bridge in every single place I could!
One of the pictures I took during that day was this one and I use it to celebrate my hundredth photograph posted here from that great trip to SAN FRANCISCO and LAKE TAHOE!

This is a splendid composition of the Golden Gate.
The two angled lines spread the view across the river like opening arms.
Excellent sharpness.
The exploding spray sets a dynamic mood.

truly successful picture! The POV is excellent and I like the foreground which makes this photo so much more complex and interesting. The moment to catch splashing water was perfect and the whole scene gains plenty of dynamism from it. Great colors and masterly managed light.

Wonderful taken on a very good moment with the wave and the white foam.
These bridge remains a real eye catcher for always.

uno dei simboli degli USA e nello stesso tempo emblema stesso della città di San Francisco e della California.
Hai ripreso il soggetto nella migliore delle maniere con luce brillante e con colori vivaci inserendolo in una composizione nella quale anche le onde concorrono alla bellezza.

Bonjour Neyvan,

Un des plus beau point de vue possible sur le célèbre pont.J'aime aussi beaucoup la vague qui frappe la rive avec force, ce qui est du plus bel effet. J'aime les couleurs ainsi que le cadrage .

lovely presentation of the famous Golden Gate. I remember walking this path few years ago. This is a less common POV, people tend to present the upper view more often. Excellent work!

The bridge is taken from a very good angle.
I like the colour contrast between the huge pillars and the sky, the attractive composition with the low closure on the foreground and the effect of the crashing waves.

This POV is great! I like the water splashing along the edge, and the fabulous view of the bridge. The sky is so clear and the colors really jump out. I also like the way the bridge itself and the ropes near the edge are all moving towards the left side of the frame. It's a beautiful composition and presentation.

love seeing that orange/red color of the Golden Gate against the blue sky.

Punchy light contrasts and wonderful warm cold colour contrasts between the orange suspension bridge and the blue water. Good sharpness and well composed. I walked across this famous bridge twice and the bus stop is very close to where this was taken. Have a great weekend!

The Golden-Gate view to its length is marvelousely taken from an askewed POV upon, and the pounding waves reminded that it was winter, though a beautiful blue sky prevailed.
Fine red-rusty color of the mighty structure, contrast and other tech.-details superbly collected.

Looks like the wind was blowing from the east and those waves are huge for that side of the bridge. I can almost hear the roar of the crushing waves. Nicely captured with good details. Well done, tfs.

A great 100th image of the area! The vantage point is great where the famous bridge stands nice and big in the image. The linked chains and spray of the ocean add a lot of interest to the foreground and the backdrop is crisp and clear with lovely saturated colours. Congrats on an excellent picture!

Hello Neyvan - You have presented a shot of this iconic bridge from a slightly different vantage point than we usually see and I like it very much. The Fg is both interesting, giving a good feel for the location, and dynamic with the waves crashing against the shoreline. Excellent colours with the orange contrasting well with the blue.

Hi Ney,

Such a timeless classic, you just can't go wrong with a image of the iconic Golden Gate. I was hoping for these kinds of waves splashing against the shoreline during my visit years ago, but unfortunately wasn't able to come away with a dynamic shot like this. With so much focus generally put on the bridge itself, you were wise to step back and let the entire surrounding play a big role. Nature provided the action, and you captured it splendidly. I think what I like most about this composition is that it creates a natural flow of crossing lines from the foreground all the way to the other side of the bridge. Bright, detailed, full of energy and a distinct San Francisco attraction. A fantastic result! Have a good one. Take it easy.

Stunning capture of the famous icon spanning the bay. It's delightful with some parts are bathed in wonderful warm glow making the red of the bridge really stands out. The fantastic water drama is the icing on the cake, and the viewpoint and diagonal touch is impressive extending the depth immensely, i think this is quite a mean feat in getting it. Detail and sharpness is amazing and the colours are great, you captured the very essence of this bridge really well. Indeed a powerful image so well taken, Congrats

esta vista del Golden gate es todo un clásico en SF, y tu buena foto le da un bonito valor estético, gracias a un encuadre bien buscado, una profunda perspectiva, una buena luz, y unos colores bien saturados.
Me gusta el efecto dinámico creado por las olas rompiendo en el muelle, con su espuma blanca añadiendo un eficaz contraste cromático a los tonos azules y rojos.

The mighty icon of San Francisco shows its best profile to the afternoon sun, so it appears magnificent seen over the azure-blue skies.
Attractive action shot too because the Golden Gate strait attracts attention, teasing the shore.
I now understand better the sense of "I left my heart in San Francisco"!

Muito bonita a foto, cores excelentes grande perspectiva os salpicos da ondulação no primeiro plano ficaram óptimos. Essa ponta faz lembrar a ponte sobre o Tejo de Lisboa!
