Photographer's Note
The monumental Capitolio in neoclassical architectural style with its columns and its dome was built from the 1920s. The elected representatives of the territory sit here. With this sunshine, the building is dazzling white and stands out perfectly against this background of blue sky.
I chose to frame it as well by integrating this foreground constituted by the horizontal bands of the pedestrian crossing and this, in order to accentuate the effect of contrast with the verticality of the columns of the facade.

Bonjour Jean
A little strange to see neoclassical Greco-Roman architecture from Europe in South Florida. The striated zebra crossing adds a good lead in as well as strong graphism. Excellent sharpness and framing. Tfs!

Hi Jean
At first I thought this was still in Puerto Rico but it is too grand - much more Florida. Great perspective making good use of the horizontal lines.
cheers

Hello Jean, It is a really impressive white building, I visited quite many places in Florida but not this one. An amazing contrast to the white walls with the blue sky. I like your composition with the horizontal lines contrasting with the vertical elements. Spectacular symmetry.
Stay safe

Hi Jean
Great rhythm of the Capitol Steps with lovely combination of the textured marble obtaining a more balanced foreground to what's beyond. Superb contrast to deep blue background. Well done

Bonjour, cher Jean,
Bien vu d'intégrer les bandes blanches pour les piétons à la volée de marches conduisant à l'édifice d'une grande beauté architecturale.
Amitiés.

Salut Jean
Imposing facade, you managed to captured the grandeur of the building. The white walls contrast beautifully with the clear blue sky and the zebra crossing in the foreground serves as an important element of the composition.
Best wishes

Hi Jean,
Quite stylish, and monumental government building. I have seen from pictures that most U.S. states have a capitol of this style with large dome and big columns. I like how zebra patterns kind of continue on those stairs.

Hello Jean,
I believe many people would like to see Puerto Rico obtain official statehood and this grand building shows that they have a Capitol ready that can rival with other state capitols around the US. Excellent photo up the steps towards the grand colonnade and the dome. Wonderful lighting and a nice blue sky also.

Hello Jean,
This capitol building is beautiful, and it's interesting that there were no people near it when you took this photo. I guess the building was closed that day! The size and architecture are very impressive, and your photo is so sharp that we can see all the details, like the writing above the columns. Take care...

Bonjour Jean,
A photo with an excellent composition.
A perfect choice to start with the zebra crossing at the bottom with the stately staircase above. A wonderful base for the white building with its vertical columns.
Well done

Salut Jean-Saint.
The white colour dominate this wonderful scene, yet in a pleasant mix-match. A solid building with an attractive architecture, well-placed POV with the front stairs and the "zebra" street passing strips. Thanks for sharing this image.

Hi Jean.
With an architecture different from the ones we have seen in the States of the Union, this one has a beautiful atrium with those 8 columns, the dome seems not to have the height of those of the continent, but it is elegant and magnificent.
Excellent clear and sharp capture!
Well done. I like.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Salut Jean,
Amicalement, Paul

the dome is not so high as it is usual in the same buildings in buenos aires, havana and USA. I liked a lot the marble columns and the effects of stairs and strips you used so well.perfect.
take care
