The expressway that leads out of downtown San Juan separates two very different neighborhoods. Two aspects of Puerto Rico.
On one side the seaside with its residences and hotels for vacationers and on the other, the working-class districts with a much more modest aspect, that's it! Two ways of life, two worlds ..

L'un résolument moderne, et l'autre qui a gardé sont aspect ancien et plus calme avec un aspect villageois !

Les deux photos montrent la différence entre l'architecture moderne et l'architecture ancienne ou modeste. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des immeubles. La lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Two sides of the coin is well illustrated here: wonderful highrise townscape as compared the neighbourhood packed in tightly!!. The quality looks fine and that's not the most important thing anyway. It's a fascinating image that such a place still can have such beauty. Well done

Hello Jean,
Good contrasting sceneries with modern town buildings on one side across the water - and older quarter with humble residential's on the other side.
I can only assume both pictures were taken at about same time, by the shadows angles.
Immaculate two pictures, light and colors with good sharp details shown.

Les deux aspects de Puerto Rico me rappellent mon voyage à New York.
Votre photo du haut serait alors Manhattan tandis que la photo du bas aurait pu être prise plus tôt à Brooklyn.
Très bon de nous montrer les différences.

Jean, the excellent collage shows two faces of San Juan. The modern apartment blocks on the seashore contrast with the the working class district. The second photo has a good depth. Fine colors, sharp shots, interesting note, regards.
