Photographer's Note

Closing of many restaurants and some airlines will be the first wave of economic effects of this pandemic. Tuscany Square was a fine Italian restaurant that we have enjoyed since we moved here. Their eggplant parmigiana was out of this world. Somehow they survived the lock-down but the reduced capacity opening must not have been good for their business. It was sad to see this last message from them a few weeks ago.

Sad sign, but we see this all over, Murat.
many restaurants and cafe's already closed in Israel and probably many will not survive.
A big pity, but what can we do... chosen well the title.

Hello Murat,
It was a good idea to desaturate everything but the red message. Even though bankruptcies happen for various reasons, this is really a sign of the times. The WS shows us the Italian colours of the sign and the building, but this version has a much stronger impact.

There are so many businesses which are suffering from lack of opening hours and lack of custom!

To see the message displayed so publicly makes the effect even stronger!
You have photographed this well!
The message has no distractions, it is big, red and in the f/g!

Hi Murat,2 differents way to show the sign of Tuscany restaurant. Now closed because the virus like what happens in Italy some months ago. It's curious to know that parmigiana is a dish of this restaurant,it comes from Parma,in Emilia-Romagna region,and not from Tuscany. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

That is a very sad picture announcing the closing of the restaurant. Many businesses in The Netherlands are receiving government support at the moment and the number of bankruptcies is very low right now, even lower than normal, but we'll have to wait and see what happens when the government stops supporting them. Good black and white photo with only the letters in red.

it is sad indeed to see so many restaurants shutting down. I am really worried about travel companies as well and whether it all will translate into higher prices of everything.
Nice advert banner here, so typical for America.
The red color of the message stand well out.

Same here, I'm afraid. Several restaurants and bars are having a really hard time and are struggling to survive. Some make it, some don't. We do our best to support our locals.

Hello Murat,
A great photo where colorful America turns into a country of gray, perfectly shown in your photo. Only the words "Closed for Good" show how many lives are damaged by many limitations.

my small town has four restaurants, but most of them are surviving selling food to the homes of the clients, anyway it much more easie to deal with the covid here than in a largest city. nice flagrant of the moment.
