Photographer's Note
Streetlights along South Lakeshore Drive going north, Chicago, taken from a moving car.
For most of you who have been on TrekEarth for longer, you probably reconize this as you've probably seen it before. I had another chance to be on the same road early this month so I braced myself to take a similar picture and this time with the street lights complete.
It was a little bit foggy and dark when I took this. The buildings in the background are the Sears Tower, the tallest building in North America and the 333 E. Wacker (the lower building to its left, not well separated in the picture).
Just converted it to grayscale (there wasn't much to convert, it was almost a monochrome because it was such a dreary day), a little bit of rotation, cropping and USM.

Beautiful shot. I like the graphical aspect. The contrast with the soft Sears Tower in the background is nice.

Jolie photo en noir et blanc . Superbe graphisme ... mais le cadre un peu grand ..?

Very nice Ken - I especially appreciate it as I'm getting my own B&W eye into gear again! You know why it's a good photo so what can I tell you!!? Remember the Martian machines on War of the Worlds?

Hi Ken,
Perspective is great and amplified by the repetition, well seen and better framed than the previous one.
Have a nice day,

Very nice pattern, Ken.
Good choice for B&W. You did well and that from a driving car. Good framing too. Great.

For some reason this really appeals to me - it's unusual and the subject is extremely well isolated. A pity you can only give 2 points.

Hi Ken
I like the lates version beter
First for the ferspective and continuity and second for the repetition
The tight crop and framig both are very good

Hi Ken:
I remembered your previous shot even though I didn't critique it. This is much better for the reason you state - the lights are now complete. An excellent monochromatic visual essay.
