Narrows of Virgin River in Zion National Park in Utah. The trail leads through the middle of the Virgin River, the canyon walls are towering on both sides. The golden color is just a reflection on the rock walls because the water is dripping over them. Occasionally the water forms waterfalls. The reflection color changes during the day. I have seen it blue, silver and gold...

Nice picture. I have stood right at this very spot a number of times. One of my images here on trek earth is from not all that far from here (maybe 100'). Did you use a UV filter for this picture? Was it digital or scanned? All in all a very nice picture. I'll post a workshop with a little different coloring and sharpening.
