Photographer's Note

Named as Orton Hall after Edward Orton, the first president of Ohio State University, the building was erected in 1892. 40 different types of rocks have been used all of which are from Ohio. It is well known with the bell ringing every 15 minutes. It features the Richardsonian Romanesque style architecture popular at its time.
