Photographer's Note
Frozen Lake (yes, that is the name), Mount Rainier National Park.
This lake is just a few miles walk from the Sunrise Visitor Center.
There is a fence around the lake (barely visible on the right) that prevents people from getting too close, as it is the water source for the Visitor Center, and the fence also prevents the edge of the lake from being damaged by curious visitors and photographers. It's a bit frustrating, but understandable. Alpine environments are extremely fragile.
We were lucky to have such a dynamic sky. It is often totally foggy or totally blue.
