The mountain range of Olympic National Park.

I'd stopped by the side of the road to capture the breathtaking view when a lady walking her dog with her daughter stopped me and asked me what I was doing. She wanted to know why I was taking a picture of her house!! I explained to her (taking care not to offend) that it was the breathtaking scene I was interested in and not so much her house (though it was very nice). She still didn't seem to understand what all the fuss was about and left me to my business. A prime example of mother nature taken for granted!!

Hi David,
Fantastic combination of green nature and magnificent mountains, the green tones of the trees in FG creates a beautiful chromatic contrast with the rock, the snow and the sky in BG.
The framing is very good, the photo is very attractive and the view of this landscape is really beautiful.

Impressive landscape which i looking with great interest because in August i will be here myself. Your image gives a nice impression on what to expect. A high mountain range surrounded by a large forrest.

Bonjour David,
un endroit aussi bien connu pour ces jolies montagnes que pour certaines plages si je ne me trompe pas.
Le contraste est puissant entre les sommets blanchis de neige et ces sapins bien verts.
Une bonne maitrise des lumières pourtant pas des plus faciles ici.

I love these layers .. the greens against the powerful stone and snow .. the point of view and composition is marvelous .. I wish we had a bit more detail in the foreground.. but still a tremendous image. love the story.
