We nearly pulled this plant out from our garden, thinking it was a weed, when suddenly it started to bud and flower... oops ;)
It was a good opportunity to try a flower macro.
Found that it was a "Physostegia Virginiana" or "Gallipoli Heath". Often used in Australian cottage gradens, it is perennial and grows to 1m tall. It apparently bears spikes of tubular pink bells and flowers in Summer.

Another perfect macro shot! Sharp with perfect DOF, and well composed. I just have problem with the outside frame... I do not really like the drop shadow you added. The picture is so clean... I feel that the drop shadow just "harm" to that "perfectly clean" shot.

Good flower macro. You've managed to create a "dinamic" composition with the flower making an arch. Excelent colors and clarity.
