Photographer's Note
These strange patterns were made from these sand reeds blowing from side to side in the seaside breeze. It took me a while to realise this, thinking at first they were some kind of "crop circle" in the dunes ;) They were everywhere.

Good composition, & watch out for the crab on the left ! Diffuse lighting suits this subject, & the rain pitted sand has a nice texture.

Beautiful. Simple but so well made. The colors are just perfect and the details are all there, including the marks in the sand made by the rain.
