Photographer's Note
In 960AD a girl was born in China. She developed a reputation for accurate weather forecasts and became revered by fisherman. She died aged 27 and became part of the Taoist religion/philosophy.
A thousand+ years later there is a temple dedicated to her in the, once very working class, Melbourne suburb of Footscray. It has been under construction in stages for some years.
During a brief period of covid freedom I cycled past there and then went back with Skippy007 and Macondo.

Hi Steve
Say hi to that pair from me! From where lockdowns have finally caught up with me (we've had a good run until now where I live and still no local transmission - just the statewide lockdown which has just started).
An interesting one with the decorations as the focal point and just the impressionistic view of the building. I like it.
cheers
Ian

Hello Steve,
An unexpected photo from Melbourne and an original composition too, with the focus on the ribbons and flowers. It's nice to hear the three of you still meet now and then to take photos together. The site is a bit empty without Skippy007 and Macondo (and dozens others).
Regards,
Gert
