Photographer's Note
It's pretty hot here at the moment.
So I thought I'd upload a photo that makes me feel a bit cooler.
This is Bondi Rock Pool. The water you see surrounding it is the Pacific Ocean. Sydney has many of these ocean rock pools. When the sea is calm, they're great for doing laps in. When it's rough, the kids love hanging off the chains and being swept into the pool.

Hello Lisa,
Amazing to see a swimming pool so close to the sea. Very interesting shot, also with the diagonals in it and the constrast between the quiet pool and the rough sea.
Nice one!

Ciao Lisa,
sono contento di aver casualmente incontrato la tua bella galleria. Qui sei davvero riuscita a creare un effetto molto interessante con il contrasto tra la piscina e le acque dell'oceano.
Belle linee e grande POV, bravissima.

Hello Lisa,
Strange to see how close this pool is to the open water. Any reason why people prefer a pool above the ocean...sharks, yellyfish or stingrays? Is that poolwater also salt water?
The lines here and your slow shutter gave a very blurry ocean water, an effect that i like to see here...very nice.
Regards,
Henk

Hi Lisa.
A more wider angle, to show us the sea, I think could be better.
Anyway, nice view of this pool!

Hi Lisa,
You got exactly the effect you were looking for. That icy blue tone can be found from glaciers. And it gives chilly feeling. Not that I need it here, back in Finland. Careful framing with diagonal lines. One swimmer over there would be great.

Hi Lisa,
excellent POV! This is a very fascinating and pleasant construction. What time of the day did you take that shot? I am asking because I do not see any people. TFS!
Warm regards

This tight framing is perfect. You make a picture with the pool and the sea, you don't want to show us the pool and the sea, that's the difference! Excellent photo Lisa.

Hi Lisa.
As soon as I saw the thumbnail I thought, "Bondi or Bronte?". Very well composed to make the most of the lines and angles. The close-up view is a well conceived composition with great diagonals. I disagree wtih Oscar about the tightness of the composition. And the lack of people gives it an eery sort of atmosphere. Well done.

Andrew

Hi Lisa,
you have a very good gallery!
I like this photo for the cold tones and the contrast between the pool and the sea. Nice composition, excellent POV.
Nice day

Hi Lisa,
First of all thanks for your crits on my post...
and this shot is beautiful, I like the combination of man made water in square and straight line versus the natural sea water, really nice long exposure to get the soft and smooth texture. I love the teal or turquoise tone, really refreshing and cool. Thanks and g'day

Hello Lisa
Quite a nice grab. Crop is very nice and I think the portrait orientation is a good choice. IMHO the picture could have benefited from a wee bit more contrast and saturation of the aquas. I have taken the liberty to do a workshop.
Cheers

Hello Lisa,
Here due to the other hemisphere side of Earth, it is cold :-)
Nice view on those sea swimming pools. The interest comes from the colors but also from the opposition between the moving sea and the smooth surface in the pool.
It is only missing a siren in the frame.
Yves.

Hi Lisa :)
Very good "line management", I mean the straight walls of the pool with the photo frame. The border is also well matched.
TFS!
