Photographer's Note
The Moss Gardens are found at the end of a track in a side canyon along Carnarvon Gorge. Even though it's not in a high rainfall area, these moss gardens are maintained by a constant seepage from the rocks above. Water moves slowly down through hundreds of meters of sandstone, before being redirected by an impervious layer.
A small creek drops over a ledge, showering in a pool to the right of these mossy rocks. Ferns cling to the walls, tree ferns grow in the sandy banks as the canyon continues back into the sandstone plateau out of which the gorge has been carved.

Allô Nichola!
Magnifique prise de vue et superbes couleurs. Bonne composition et clarté d'image. J'aime beaucoup les différents tons de vert qui contraste bien avec la couleur des rochers.
Félicitations!...

Hi Nichola,
I'm fascinated by the colors of the rocks ... lovely colors. The moss blends in nicely with the rugged stones just like a carpet ... just beautiful. Well captured and composed. Excellent work! tfs
