This was taken on the way up to Mt Hutt ski field. The view is looking east over the Canterbury Plains, with the Rakaia river wandering off down to the South Pacific.
There are 2 photos stitched in this shot, but this has caused the horizon to be exagerrated in favour of enhancing the nearby patchwork of fields.

Hi David,
althogh the left part of your photo is slightly darker it's a very good stitch. The horizon shows that the world is round ;) The clouds to the left hand side give depth to the picture. Very colorful. TFS
