Photographer's Note

A photo from the Kepler Track, near Lake Manapouri in Fiordland National Park. This rainforest is dominated by large beech trees and moss. Moss covers everything. The photo looks down at the green world of the forest floor. It is cropped from a larger photo.

Fantastic view of the forest that is sure full of fairies, goblins and legends. I like the colors are very natural, and good sharpness that you can see the textures and details. Congratulations.

Hello Vincent. So beautiful, I love woodlands and here with the contrasting light and verdant growth of mosses I see an area rich in biodiversity and natural beauty. I like the crop which concentrates the view and highlights the damp forest undergrowth.

This is simply magical, like something out of The Lord if the Rings or a fairy tale. Marvellous light control and the varying green shades have been illuminated superbly. Excellent panoramic cut too. I was on the Kepler Track a decade ago in March, a lot iciest than this.

Wow, I feel like I'm standing right in the middle of this very green and lush rainforest... I think green is supoosed to calm and relax you but this seems pretty scary, like the world as I know it does not exist at all... Regardless of that, it's a beautiful photo...
