Photographer's Note
The Routeburn Track on the South Island of New Zealand has many fine views. This one is of Mt Crosscut, seen across the Hollyford Valley. Glaciers carved out these steep valleys in the last ice age. This part of the track goes through a wonderful forest of beech trees. These are different to the northern hemisphere beeches: they belong to the genus Nothofagus.

Hello Vincent,
Now that I've visited South Island, I can appreciate the fact that such views really do exist, and they are not photoshopped. Superb composition, although I must admit, you cannot take a bad photo in this area.
Warm regards,
Bulent
