Contente de voir que tu te décides tout de même à poster tes photos de NZ sur ce site... et j'espère que celle-ci n'est que la première d'une longue série à suivre.
J'avais déjà entendu parler de cet endroit, mais c'est la première fois que je vois une photo aussi belle... c'est vraiment breathtaking. Et puis je constate qu'il s'agit d'une photo de transition et que tu n'es pas tout à fait encore revenu de ton voyage, puisque qu'on peut admirer la photo avec la tête dans un sens ou dans l'autre! :-P

Bonjour Christian,

Ca faisait un moment, mais ca valait le coup d attendre. La vue est vraiment superbe avec une belle profondeur et un sacré reflet. Pas etonnant qu en voyageant en dessous on finisse par tout voir en double :-)
Entre ta photo (et celles a suivre) et celles de Floydian, c est une veritable invitation a venir visiter ce pays.

Christian,
nice to see where all the different TE members get to got during all these years. So you got to go dwon under and walked upside down for two weeks. Man, I am gald that you at least flipped the image by 180 degrees before you posted it. LOL
Wonderful to say the least! TE has already many posts of this very famous spot but the fact that you were able to include this sailboat there makes this a very good one. All of the sudden the big mountains got even bigger.

Hi Christian,

Good to see you back, hope you had a great trip in that great country. I was impressed by it, think you had the same about the country and about the people. If it wasn't that far i would go often, that's for sure.
Did you stayed at the lodge near the water?
Going later in the season means you need more luck with the weather, but you have something i didn't had in March....snow on the peaks..!!!
It's the classic pov, mine are not good enough because of hard light, but seeing this you were very lucky on the weather and the way how you captured it. Love that sky and his reflection. The boats go on and off, no surprise you captured that one, but for me is that snow on the peaks absolute the most beautiful part...great shot..!!!

il est revenu !!!
mais alors quand tu pars, tu ne pars pas n'import'où: la nouvelle zelande !!! une des plus fameuses destinations de la planete, un concentré de paysages fabuleux. cette premiere image est un vrai bonheur, qui ne rêve de la faire ? montagnes pyramidales, pointes trempées dans la neige, le miroir idéal, et le frêle navire planté au milieu du décors, le petit nuage qui va bien, tu as du t'eclater dans de telles conditions. je brûle de voir la suite de vos tribulations !

Hi Christian,

Although this place is so photographed, there a good reason for why and your photo demonstrates that. An amazing view which you've captured well in a 50/50 split composition. The colours are great, I only wonder if you could have contrasted the image more for better effect and tried to draw out the golden light glinting off the mountains in the distance more. I think this would enhance the overall shot.

De retour? tu nous avais laissés en Italie et on te retrouve encore plus loin..............mais il semble que cette absence valait le détour .Grandiose ce paysage ,le bateau nous en montre la dimension.Excellent ce cadrage qui offre une très belle profondeur,de très belles couleurs et surtout un magnifique reflet.

Bonjour Christian,
une grande composition ici, tu as magistralement joué avec la symétrie des reflets de ce paysage merveilleux sur l'eau.
Les tonalités bleues de l'eau et du ciel donnent une atmosphère très spéciale à la prise, la lumière est très belle, et le bateau ajoute une touche très intéressante à l'ensemble.
Un très beau travail.

Somehow I missed this post when you first return to TE. I Love it. what a fantastic reflection, I don't think I have one that is this clear. this is the only exception that you place the horizon right in the center. You images from NZ make me wish to go there sooner. thank you.
