A rainbow arches over Milford Sound framing the iconic Bowen Waterfall (162m). This photo is from my archives taken on Fuji negative film & scanned directly from the negative.

Hi Neil, this is an old photo and the quality is not the best but the double rainbow is very impressive we can even see some addtional structures. Beautiful fjord . Warm regards

Impressive natural phenomenon and an excellent photograph with which to memorialize it. Amazing place too. My only criticism is the wonky horizon line, which could so easily be corrected.

Hi Neil,
Wow, that's an unforgettable experience. No doubt the visual impression is not best after scan of old negative, but beauty of the place is unmissable. The double is very clear though it's impossible to recreate original colours. Not sure if it's better to straighten the waterline or leave it like that to give impression of the no doubt shaky ride.
It would be great to go there some day, but there is a risk of just seeing continuous rain.

Beautiful double rainbow in one of the most amazing places on earth! Very well captured, great composition and colours and the neg film gives it that special old times feel.

Impressive shot indeed with beautiful collours.Have heard about Milford Sound, NZ in the past - hopefully one day will visit it. The interaction of water and rocks reminds me of my favourite Norway (have published similar rainbow shot taken in Lofoten islands).
