Photographer's Note
The best way to see Milford Sound (the only one when you have no car) is to buy the day trip from Queenstown. It is almost 300 km driving one way and 1-hour cruise. The way is fabulous and it is the highlight of the New Zealand trip.
As I have already written, the beginning of the day was fabulous, sunny and warm, but when we went closer to the sea, it was more and more cloudy.
With a mean annual rainfall of 6,412 mm each year, Milford Sound is known as the wettest inhabited place in New Zealand and one of the wettest in the world. Rainfall can reach 250 mm (10 in) during a span of 24 hours. The rainfall creates dozens of temporary waterfalls (as well as a number of major, more permanent ones) cascading down the cliff faces, some reaching a thousand meters in length. Smaller falls from such heights may never reach the bottom of the sound, drifting away in the wind.
Here and in Workshops the boats that cruise the fiord.
Such a trip costs 125 NZ dollars. One can survive :).

In the background, Mitre Peak.
Mitre Peak (Māori Rahotu) is an iconic mountain in the South Island of New Zealand, located on the shore of Milford Sound. It is one of the most photographed peaks in the country. Part of the reason for its iconic status is its location. Close to the shore of Milford Sound, in the Fiordland National Park in the southwestern South Island, it is a stunning sight. The mountain rises near vertically to 1,690 m, from the water of Milford Sound, which technically is a fjord.

Hello Malgo,
As in your movie this looks cold and wet and not very pleasant, but still probably worth every dollar and hour spent. The scenery is fantastic and the red and white boat really brightens the grey and hazy mood. It's also nice to see a gentleman in red on the quay.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Malgo
Hope you got a shot of Bowen Falls. The weather was not ideal but at least you got to see Milford Sound. If you were lucky you might have spotted some seals. Good trio of boat images at the wharf all with good sharpness. Tfs!

Hi Malgo,
The mountains are framing well the boat. The point of view is showing the details of the tour boat. The cloudy sly is giving a good contrast to the colours. Have a nice day.

Hello Malgo,
The scenery in the background looks beautiful, even as it is enveloped in clouds like here. The boat is well placed diagonally in the foreground and its red parts bring colour to the cloudy day.

Boats always make good photos, just like airplanes, Malgo.
Intriguing subjects I guess.
The red and white stand notable contrast against the green slope and grey water color and clouds aloft.
Looks as an adventure.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Hi Malgorzata
Nice view over the sound when the striking red colour of the ferry boat makes all the diff under the unfriendly greyish day. Good detail throughout and well taken, Congrats

Ciao Malgo
anche la pioggia ha i suoi benefici, le lunghe cascate ne sono un esempio.
Sempre che si riescano a vedere, la nuvola è molto scura e densa....

Witaj MAlgo,
nice the place reading someone your note with the boat to creates contrast in the scene. The dark and cloudy sky enhance even more the beauty of the place.

Hello Malgo,
The red catamaran makes a nice contrast to the dreary day. The view is spectacular with the mountains covered in clouds (as we say in Turkish, mountains with smoky heads). 👌👌
Regards,
MT
